Jacob began his career in audio with IV Media - providing AP support on Tinchy Stryder's grassroots podcast: Tinchy Talk!
He proceeded to work on the production of audio dramas for BBC Radio 3 and Amazon podcasts with Allegra Productions and Goldhawk Media.
Having then spent 2 years at the Sound Company in Fitzrovia, London, Jacob began producing his own BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4 documentary work for Whistledown Studios and 2 Degrees West.
On programmes, such as 'Will the Unicorns of the Sea Fall Silent?' for the BBC World Service, Jacob began to travel more frequently for his work. It was on the back of trips to places like Ittoqqortoormiit that he began to submit his writing for publication.
Jacob works full-time as a freelancer. He has recently produced a documentary about US cadaveric trade for BBC Radio 4 titled The Body Shop.
He writes freelance travel and opinion pieces chronicling, amongst other things, long-haul endurance cycles as well as his pursuit of the modern (Self-Help) pilgrim.
